Hi, I’m Brobuatkhat,
a muralist and contemporary calligraphy artist based in Malaysia. With over a decade of experience in the art world, I specialize in blending traditional Islamic calligraphy with modern, fluid aesthetics to create visually stunning and meaningful masterpieces.

Our Team

Afian Artistry Studio is made up of a small yet dedicated team of three individuals, each bringing their unique passion and skills to create stunning art that inspires and connects.

Our main objective is to transform spaces into inspiring environments that evoke a sense of tranquility, curiosity, and connection through my murals and contemporary calligraphy.

Journey & Achievement

2005: Discovered my passion for calligraphy.
2007: Won the National Calligraphy Championship (School Level).
2012: Became a calligraphy instructor, sharing my knowledge with others.
2015: Collaborated with PLUS Malaysia on mural projects.
2016: Began exploring mural and graffiti art in Shah Alam.
2018: Managed Studio Hundred Million, focusing on design, videography, and exhibitions.
2019: Directed a university-level Art & Industrial Design Exhibition.
2020:
- Secured 2nd place in Switzerland’s Sustainable Product Design Competition.
- Founded Brobuatkhat Studio to pursue my artistic vision full-time.
- Transitioned to creating murals, contemporary calligraphy, and Islamic art professionally.
2021: Delivered commissioned artworks to international clients in Brunei, Australia, and the USA.
2023: Achieved 4th place in the National Islamic Art Museum’s Manifestation Competition.
